It is competition time once again this year! This year’s gift card competition will run from Black Friday the 24th of November to the 23rd of December. All stores will be divided into 14 different leagues determined by their market and last year’s performance. All stores within each league will be competing against each other.

Why do we sell Gift Cards?

The gift cards have been a part of JOE & THE JUICE for many years, so our regular guests are used to them now. They can either purchase a Black Friday card with 10 items (only available in the Black Friday weekend) or gift cards with either 1, 2 or 4 optional items on. Essentially everyone could use a JOE gift card, making it the perfect gift. Therefore, we want to see how amazing you guys are at selling the cards in this worldwide competition.

Competition Fomat

The Gift Card Competition is the main competition which also offers the best prizes. However, we have 2 sprints to both kick off and end off the competition. The Black Friday Sprint is it’s own competition and will be finalised when the Black Friday weekend ends. The Grand Finale sprint is it’s own competition, BUT all sales from this period also counts in the actual Gift Card Competition.

Master Sprint - Black Friday: The store in each league that sells the highest number of Black Friday cards from 24th - 26th of November wins!

Sprint - Grand Finale: The store in each league that sell the most gift cards in the period of 18th - 23rd of December wins!

Gift Card Competition: The top 3 stores in each league that reaches the highest Gift Card Point Percentage in the period of 26th of November - 23rd of December wins!

Gift Card Competition: Point System

The aim is to sell the most gift cards, but keep in mind that the 3 different cards (Bronze, Silver and Gold) will be weighted:

• Bronze Gift Card (1 product) = 1 point 🥉

• Silver Gift Card (2 product) = 2 points 🥈

• Gold Gift Card (4 products) = 4 points 🥇

This means that two bronze cards will be equivalent to 2 points while 2 gold cards will be equivalent to 8 points. Each store’s individual score will be calculated by dividing Total Gift Card points with Total Number of Transactions. This is done to make it fair for everyone not depending on if the store is high or low turnover.

Black Friday & Grand Finale Sprint

For both sprints you don’t need to worry about number of transactions. Here, it is all about the number of cards the team can push to the guests!

Rewards 🏆🏆

There are team days, team dinners and family cards at stake!

Master Sprint Black Friday: The store in each league that sells the most Black Friday cards wins a Team Dinner arranged by their local management. There will be 14 winning stores!

Grand Finale Sprint: The store in each league that sells the most Gift Cards wins a family card for each Juicer working in the store. There will be 14 winning stores!

Gift Card Competition: The store that achieves the highest card point percentage within each league wins a Team Day arranged by their local management. Number 2 and 3 will be rewarded with a team dinner. In other words, there will be 42 winning stores! All stores in each market have the possibility to win!

*Be aware, that there is a card point percentage minimum requirement in each league that a winning store needs to reach in order to get the prize. This will be announced soon.

WP2 Leaderboard

As usual you can access the leaderboard and view your daily and overall results on WP2. Every Juicer is assigned to a store, so when you enter WP2 you will automatically view the results of your store’s performance.
