With the new JOE Loyalty app update, guests will now be able to scan a QR code directly on terminal, eliminating the need for in-store scanners. The idea behind this change is to streamline the scan-to-pay process, avoid recurring issues with the scanners, and make things a little easier for everyone. π
What does this mean?
The scan-to-pay flow on the POS will remain unchanged. The only difference is that guests will now be directed to scan a QR code on the terminal instead of using the in-store scanners. However, the option to use the old scan-to-pay flow with the scanners will remain available for a while to ensure a smooth transition
